Der Kosice Marathon, der am 2. Oktober bereits zum 93. Mal ausgetragen wird, ist mit 12.000 Teilnehmer ausgebucht. Prominentester Starter bei der traditionsreichen Veranstaltung ist der slowakische Olympiasieger im 50km-Gehen, Matej Toth.
